City+Ventures is seeking a Ticket Sales Associate for Nebraska Professional Volleyball, who is responsible for generating revenue for Nebraska Pro Volleyball through selling a variety of different ticket packages, generating sales leads through a variety of initiatives along with self-prospecting, and helping to maximize our fans experience with our brand.
Job Duties:
  1. Implement sales strategies:
    • Make outbound sales calls to sell a variety of ticket packages including season tickets, group tickets and more.
    • Prospect new leads to help increase attendance and ticket revenue for the organization.
    • Work on our CRM system to maximize efficiency and lead scoring.
  1. Cultivate client relationships:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including season ticket members, group leaders, and other group & promotions booking contacts.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring excellent customer service, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues.
  1. Execute promotional campaigns:
    • Assist with the coordination of grassroots marketing campaigns to help increase ticket sales, new lead generation, and brand awareness in designated areas.
    • Support with a variety of different promotions including partnership activations and fan experiences.
  1. In-Venue Production:
    • Help on match days with a variety of duties including the coordination of promotional activities and sales visits.
  1. Collaborate with internal stakeholders:
    • Coordinate with other departments, such as marketing, corporate partnerships, and communications, to help maximize the fan experience during the sales process.
    • Provide input and insights to assist in the development of new sales initiatives and customer experience enhancements.
Knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in sales and/or marketing, preferably with another professional sports or collegiate athletics program.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of sales principles, marketing strategies, and customer relationship management.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Part-time, non-exempt position.
